A mid-morning car service trip from Ravenna to Bologna and a flight to Madrid. For anyone actually still following this blog, our time in Italy has come to a close. We will spend the rest of the week in Madrid, then I travel to Cadiz to visit old friends while Holly goes to Annecy, France for the animation festival. We may add a few pics from those trips, but nothing daily.
I like to make note of the running jokes of each trip, just for our own memory bank. From this trip:
1. "Salve", which means "Hello" in Italian. The Duolingo voice sounded a little drunk and lascivious, so I often joked I would say it like that to strangers on the street.
2. "We played caaaards" sung in various musical genres (sorry, Chris)
3. And our fav little Brit on the street "Daddy, do you remember that time we had ice cream?"
