Last night we had a lovely dinner with delicious wine at Alla Antica -Around the corner from our hotel (Savona 18 Suites).
Today we hit the Duomo di Milano - Rooftop, Interior and Museum.
We started with the rooftop. Which was great!
Took this photo for the gargoyle but the naked dude below it with his “what do you think of me now?” expression is pretty great.
The Duomo took over 500 years to build and is enormous. It was designed to fit 40,000 people when Milan had 40,000 residents.
At the Duomo museum we saw God - BTW he looks like this…
And the cool framework for the gold Mary statue at the tippy top of the cathedral (see rooftop photos above).
