Day 3 Part 2: Reggio Emalia

We took the AV (fast) train from Milan to the new station on the north end of Reggio Emalia. Holly purchased a pack of breath "mints" that weren't a mints, weren't candy and weren't for her. It was a bizarre bastard child of black licorice and mint.

We chose Reggio Emalia as our home base bc it's an easy train ride to Parma and Modena for day trips. Reggio Emalia is a very charming, smaller city. After checking into our flat, we did some exploring and grabbed a glass of vino and a negroni for me.
We finished our evening with a delicious dinner at Cadauna where the highlight was a really yummy cabbage, apple and bacon salad (not pictured here).
